1. Excellent Customer Service Helps Make a Beautiful Baptism a Reality

Gazebo kits allow anyone, anywhere, to easily assemble a gazebo in their backyard or garden. The Fifthroom.com gazebos are customizable and range from being octagon to rectangular in shape; to having screens or a wide open floor plan. When a customer from St. Louis, MO suddenly had a family event to plan and needed a gazebo – quick – we were able to help. Here’s the story in her own words:

“Our little grandson, Owen, from Los Angeles, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis last summer. In May, his doctor gave him the okay to fly to our home near St. Louis to see his Grandma. When my son, Owen’s dad, told me they were coming in early June, he followed by saying that they wanted to have Owen baptized ‘down by the lake’ in our backyard.

I immediately swung into action, knowing that we needed a gazebo in a hurry. We had just four weeks before the event. Online, I had the good fortune of finding your company and then the very best salesman, Mike Donaldson, who helped me pull this off. I ordered and the gazebo arrived in a week. When the crew of friends were putting it together, we called Mike many times. He gave us his personal cell phone number since we were working on Saturday night and Sunday, after the store was closed. We kept calling him for advice until the gazebo was finally completed.

The baptism was performed in our beautiful new gazebo ‘down by the lake’ for our very special little grandson, Owen. Many thanks to Mike Donaldson for his dedication to our project and his interest in it.” – Barb E.

2. Cedar Chests Become a Family Tradition

The storage chest has a long, long history, dating back to Ancient Egypt, and has gone into – and out of – fashion over the centuries. It still lives as a tradition for some families, given as a gift to a young person when they reach a milestone; meant to be a furniture staple as they cross the bridge to adulthood. One customer said:

My granddaughter loved the cedar chest. Since I had already ordered one last year I knew how beautiful it would be. You didn’t let me down. I have one more granddaughter that will be graduating in about three years.  So, I am sure I will be ordering one for her also.

This is a real treasure that they can keep all of their lives. I still have the cedar chest I received when I graduated from high school. Thank you so much.” -Doris

3. Building a Gazebo Together Makes Family Stronger

Have you ever built something with your family? It’s a whole different ball game than when you’re working with friends or colleagues. It can be challenging because you’re probably a little more straight-forward with your family, and it forces you to communicate effectively and work together to complete the project.

That’s what the Pavy family from Port Barre, LA did. They were kind enough to share their experience with us. You can read their full story here. Here’s what they had to say about the gazebo kit assembly experience:

My family had a lot of fun with this project. We really enjoy sitting outside under it in the mornings drinking our coffee. It’s very relaxing and it allows us to have more family time.” Matt Pavy

We will be able to look back for years to come and know that we all worked on the gazebo – even our unborn first grandchild was there. The Gazebo compliments our home and has made our backyard seem like a park. It represents family, the culmination of years in Boy Scouts, and dreams of building a Gazebo once put on hold and brought to life by love.” – Karen Pavy
