Zing!!! I used to work in the Corporate World. The world of ‘Suits’. The world of black jackets and white shirts and pencil skirts. But Holy Guacamole do I wish we’d had ideas like this one Batman! Zip Zag Zippers!!!  Would you make this? I SO would… give it a try..let me know.. the Brassyapple has amazing ideas.

Are you are ‘skirt girl’? I have friends that are and they look so much more dressed up than I do! Even when they are casual they are dressy! When I saw this tut on Crafterhours I thought it was super easy and with the right t-shirts.. very effective. You know those t-shirts you can’t use anymore because you spilled mustard on the bottom, or splattered olive oil on it (no .. I’m NOT saying that has happened to me.. well.. maybe once). Those are the t-shirts I’d go for to give this a go!

And this is the one I’ll do.. really do… SweetVerbena is BRILLIANT! Yes I DO like that word.. as crafters really are an amazing bunch!  Take a t-shirt and make is sassy with a cowl that is sewn in. I do think the right cowl fabric will be the one tricky part. Don’t make it a stiff cotton, or a too flimsy of a fabric so it has no body. I’d look for a lace piece like she used to get that perfect drape.  Let’s go sew!
