Do you look at books and magazines and wonder how you can extend their life? Ones that might have been well loved? Well we are crafty here and guess what.. they can become magical new items! I love this one with the shapes cut from the book.

Lindsay’s post shows you how she rolls the papers for this great wreath! I love the look of it and it doesn’t need anything else to be gorgeous.  It is also timeless and works with a lot of décor.

I think these book birdhouses would be amazing on your Thanksgiving table with some leaves and bittersweet branches. Change them up for the seasons with the decorations you put them with!

Many of you know the first craft project I can remember making is a Readers Digest Christmas Tree.  My Na-Na sent me a few doors up to her friends house. Her friend showed me how to fold the magazine into a tree and I was instantly and madly in love with making! We spray painted ours green and rolled it in glitter.. yeah baby! Some directions here on how to fold.. it’s pretty darn easy!
