Though the heat continues here in Southern California and across the county, it is just a matter of time before we start to feel the cool crispness of autumn.  I am personally so excited for the feel of the changing seasons, not to mention some relief from all this heat.  Though the changes are subtle here, they hold such excitement and contentment for those like me who absolutely love fall!

When autumn does come, full of bright colors and cozy instincts, one of my favorite activities is sitting around the fire with a comfortable outdoor throw blanket, a few of my closest loved ones and a pumpkin flavored latte.  Humans have a primal fascination with fire and its flame and fire pits provide a place to satisfy our instinctual attraction to the warmth and mesmerizing character of a fire.
