Nowadays we are extremely lucky to have so many incredible options for our outdoor design solutions.  Long gone are the days where Adirondack chairs, rattan and plastic were our only options for styles and materials of an outdoor space. Thank goodness! Since we have the incredible materials that allow us to have infinite creativity with our outdoor room, we must all let go of our aged preconceptions of what outdoor furniture should be.  Let’s jump outside of the box and think of the possibilities that are out there. There is no reason that our outdoor furniture cannot stem from the styles of its indoor counterparts.

The photo above illustrates what we commonly think of as an outdoor dining chair.  However, I recently stumbled upon an outdoor dining set that truly looked like it was meant for the indoors.  What might have been an ordinary outdoor dining chair was dressed up with a design style sure to please.

There are certain run of the mill styles that come to mind when it comes to outdoor furniture, and then there are those that go a step further.  This particular chair was quite simple, but it was the approach to its design that made all the difference.  Take a trip to your local patio furniture store. You may be quite surprised as to what you find!
