A Perfect Gazebo Designed by YOU

We seek to decorate our backyards in a way that makes sense. Trees may form a delicate barrier from the wind, a garden may line the ultra-sunny section, and a swing set will hopefully aim away from the swimming pool. When we decide to add a structure to our outdoor living area for year-round use, the first thing we may think of is a gazebo. By using a customizable gazebo kit, the shape, dimensions, type of wood, roofing and flooring are configured to your exact specifications.

Shaping the Gazebo

Surround yourself in an angular octagon, a simple rectangle, or with the sweeping round sides of an oval. The possibilities are not endless, but given it’s the only time many of us speak in ‘dodecagon’ and ‘elongated hexagon’ language, there is plenty of information to process in step one of creating the ideal outdoor structure.

Outdoor Structures Matter

After choosing the proper shape and dimensions of your gazebo, the next step is to consider the elements. Decide which material fits best on your property: treated pine, red cedar, or vinyl are a few options typically available. From here, the add-ons – like railings, roofing, and flooring – can match or differ from the facade.

From the Roof to the Floor

The roof of your gazebo when using a gazebo kit may come in single or double roofing options and in a variety of materials, depending upon which size and shape you’ve chosen. Additionally, the gazebo flooring can be made using the same material as the siding, a special composite, or without flooring altogether (if a natural, grassy approach is desired for warm climates).

Before deciding on a plain gazebo from a retailer specializing in mass production, consider designing your own gazebo. By doing so, you’ll have a specially-built wood or vinyl gazebo that fits within the layout of your garden and patio area year after year.
