It’s unbelievable that we’re already a few weeks into January. So far, the New Year has been fairly quiet. Admit it, even though January is the opportunity for a new start, it can be quite uneventful post the New Year celebration. Some of you may be lucky to live in a state where the warm climate is year-round. If you live in a state where it snows up until March (or even later than that) then the winter blues may hit you even harder. When it’s a chilly, snowy, and overcast cloud kind of day, you’ll be wishing that spring would come sooner.
Double-check your calendars, because believe it or not, the first day of spring is only eight weeks away. You may be thinking, “Pssh, eight weeks away from now? That seems like an eternity…”, when in reality it will be here before you know it. The days will be getting longer, sun will be appearing out more, and fresh spring blossoms will be peeking out of the snow.
If you’re thinking about starting an outdoor project this spring, there is absolutely no better time than to begin planning now. Yes, now! Once the weeks begin to dwindle down, spring is going to be right in front of you. Don’t let it sneak up on you and cause you to delay your outdoor project even longer. Wouldn’t be nice to have that gazebo you’ve been eyeing available to you sooner? Or to have new outdoor patio furniture ready to set out and enjoy when the snow melts? Then it’s time to get the ball rolling. Let’s start planning your project!
